On the 9th of September, Mitel announced that it has been shortlisted for the 2020 Sports Technology Awards in the category for the Most Innovative Sports Partnership Technology. This is a recognition of a historic partnership of Mitel and Major League Baseball (MLB) that brought Present London Series back in 2019. With nearly 120,000 attendees and activities ranging from the game of the old rivals Boston Red Sox™ and the New York Yankees™ to youth events Mitel system was used to record and monitor communications to ensure compliance with MLB regulations. Additionally it powered over 2,500 replay reviews.
